Curator’s Read

A quick, honest cultural reading for AI, games and audiovisual projects

In sixty minutes we simply talk. We look at what you have and I will give you a straightforward sense of whether the idea feels fresh, where it might find a home, and what is working or not. It is a simple new-or-already-seen conversation, no frills.

Centre and Context Conversation

A longer cultural conversation to find a shared centre, language and direction

Over these three hours we go deeper into the story behind your project. We talk about why it matters to you, what makes it distinctive, and who it may resonate with. It is less about visuals and more about your narrative and purpose. By the end you have a clearer sense of why others may care about this story and where it could fit culturally.

Development Workshop

A one day session to give your project a clear language and inner logic

We spend a full day with the work. We begin from the story and who it is for, then move into how it wants to carry itself: tone, pace, image and sound at a felt, practical level. Working only from your materials, we name what belongs and what does not, try a few lines of approach against what you already have, and settle on a small set of guiding choices that feel honest to the piece. Notes are captured live in your documents. No production or editing is performed.

Development Intensive

Three focused days to centre the work, tune voice and pace, and agree the guardrails that protect it.

Three focused days to slow down and give the project a centre. We work across story and characters, and the way the piece speaks — voice, pace, image and sound — so intent and form align. The studio is text-first and collaborative: we write and decide together in your workspace, using only your materials and intentions. There are no generic templates, no borrowed references and no production from me. The aim is to uncover the spine that is already there, articulate a shared language your team can use, and set a small set of firm principles that protect the work as it grows. By the end you have a clearer sense of where the piece sits in the cultural landscape and how it should carry itself in the world.

Development Lab

Five onsite days to move from clarity to plan: centred story, working style note, credible positioning, and a phased presence plan.

Five focused days onsite to give the work firm ground: a centred story, a coherent way of speaking, and a credible presence in the cultural landscape. The development is text-first and collaborative: we write and decide together in your workspace, using only your materials and intentions. With more time than the three-day intensive, we move from exploration into drafting: the living mood board becomes a compact style note with clear guardrails; a one-line logline and a short synopsis are shaped so the project can speak consistently; and choices are pressure-tested against rights, resources, windows and geography. We map comparables and credible contexts, outline how and where the work should be encountered, and set a phased plan for presence and outreach you can act on. There are no generic templates, no borrowed references, and no production or editing from me. The value is editorial and curatorial: clear language your team can use, believable positioning, and decisions that hold beyond the room.
