Taste, clarity and a credible route for AI, games and emerging audiovisual work
Who I am
I am Enrico Vannucci. Since 2014 I have worked within the international A-List festival circuit — as short film advisor at the Venice Film Festival across seven editions, and since 2021 as programmer at the Locarno Film Festival. Alongside this, I have spent fifteen years developing projects, running labs and supporting filmmakers through development programmes across Europe and beyond.
Based in Europe, working worldwide.
What I do
My work is direct and grounded in the material. Whether developing a project or advising an organisation, the approach is the same: honest conversations that surface what is already there, name what holds the work back, and set a clear route forward.
Services
Four ways to work together, from a one hour reading to an ongoing advisory, for teams and organisations in AI, games, creative technology and cultural institutions. I help you clarify how story, form and context align so the work can find its place.
Filmmakers and producers developing a film, series, documentary or XR project can work with me through TGF Consultancy.

FAQ
What’s the scope of the work?
I offer cultural and taste advisory only.
Please note: no software tutorials, editing or production services are included.
Do you produce or edit materials?
No. I work text-first, from your materials. We write and decide together, directly in your documents.
Online or onsite?
The Curator’s Read and the three hour Positioning Session are held online. The Ongoing Advisory can be online or onsite, depending on the engagement. The full day and the Positioning Study can be held online when we work on story and language only. When style is at stake, onsite is required.
Onsite sessions are scheduled by agreement after the discovery call, subject to availability.
I am developing a film, series, documentary or XR project. Can we work together?
Yes, through TGF Consultancy at Talents Generator Factory, which offers individual development sessions for fiction, documentary, experimental, animation, TV series, XR and video game projects.
Which time zone do you work in?
Online sessions are usually scheduled in CET/CEST. I can adapt to your time zone when needed.
Can I record the session? Is an NDA available?
Notes and decisions are captured live in a shared document. Recording is available on request, with consent.
A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) can be provided.
What do you need from us to start?
A one-line logline.
Links to a short clip or a few stills.
Constraints such as duration, platforms, and deadlines.
How do you charge?
Every format has a fixed fee and sessions never run over. The one hour, three hour and full day sessions are listed on the Services page; the longer formats are quoted after the discovery call. Invoices are issued by Talents Generator Factory OÜ.
The one hour, three hour and full day sessions are paid in full at booking. The three and five day Positioning Studies are paid in full at confirmation, or in two instalments: 50% at confirmation and 50% at least 14 days before the start. If the start date is less than 21 days away when you book, the full amount is due at confirmation. A slot is confirmed when payment is received.
The Ongoing Advisory is billed monthly in advance, or quarterly in advance with a 5% reduction.
Proposals and onsite estimates are valid for seven days from issue.
In what currency are invoices issued?
Invoices are issued by default in euros. On request, I can invoice in US dollars, pounds sterling, or Swiss francs.
For non-euro invoices, the amount is converted using the European Central Bank reference rate on the invoice date and rounded to the nearest viable denomination.
Can I reschedule or cancel a session?
One hour, three hour and full day sessions: rescheduling is free with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations or no-shows with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full (100%).
Three and five day Positioning Studies: full refund if you cancel more than 30 days before the start; 50% is retained between 30 and 14 days before the start; 100% is retained within 14 days of the start. Costs already incurred and not refundable, such as flights and accommodation, remain payable by the client.
Ongoing Advisory: after the three month minimum, either side can end the engagement with 30 days’ notice.
What are the conditions for onsite work?
The fee is the same as online. Travel time is billed at half rate (€150 per hour, door to door), and travel, meals and accommodation are at cost. Flights and hotels are booked directly by the client according to a standard agreed in the proposal, and a fixed estimate is included in the proposal.
Onsite sessions are scheduled by agreement after the discovery call, subject to availability. For the Ongoing Advisory, engagements requiring more than four hours of travel each way require a minimum of two consecutive days.

Some Observations on Two Markets and One Set of Tools
AI-made microdramas are flooding social feeds, and they are a different market from AI work aimed at festivals.

Some Observations from Inside a Festival Selection
Of almost 1400 short films I watched this year, only four were made entirely with AI.
