About

Who I am

I am Enrico Vannucci, a cultural advisor working at the intersection of festival ecosystems, film development and creative technologies. Based in Europe, working worldwide.

Since 2014 I have worked within the international A-List festival circuit — first as short film advisor to Alberto Barbera at the Venice Film Festival (La Biennale di Venezia) across seven consecutive editions, and since 2021 as programmer for Pardi di Domani at the Locarno Film Festival. I am a member of the European Film Academy.

That position — watching, researching and evaluating hundreds of projects a year, tracking what circulates internationally and what does not — gave me a precise eye for what is genuinely new, what is already seen, and what a piece needs to find its place.

In 2016 I co-founded the Torino Short Film Market and worked as its artistic director through its evolution into a talent development platform. Alongside this I co-founded Varicoloured, a short-film distribution outfit focused on festival strategy and outreach, and Talents Generator Factory, a development platform delivering intensive labs from Europe to South America.

Route For Creatives applies that vantage point in two directions. The first is project-focused: working directly with filmmakers, game studios, XR teams and post-production units to clarify how story, form and context align. The second is organisational: advising AI companies, creative technology studios and cultural institutions on how emerging audiovisual technologies interact with the film ecosystem, its languages and its institutions.
