Five onsite days to move from clarity to plan: centred story, working style note, credible positioning, and a phased presence plan
Five focused days onsite to give the work firm ground: a centred story, a coherent way of speaking, and a credible presence in the cultural landscape. The development is text-first and collaborative: we write and decide together in your workspace, using only your materials and intentions. With more time than the three-day intensive, we move from exploration into drafting: the living mood board becomes a compact style note with clear guardrails; a one-line logline and a short synopsis are shaped so the project can speak consistently; and choices are pressure-tested against rights, resources, windows and geography. We map comparables and credible contexts, outline how and where the work should be encountered, and set a phased plan for presence and outreach you can act on. There are no generic templates, no borrowed references, and no production or editing from me. The value is editorial and curatorial: clear language your team can use, believable positioning, and decisions that hold beyond the room.
Teams in AI, audiovisual, gaming, XR and the wider creative industries with material ready to be shaped into a credible submission and outreach package, and who want decisions rather than theory.
Over five days we begin by working closely on the story and its characters: intention, stakes, what the piece refuses, and what must remain. From there we move into how the work wants to carry itself in the world — tone, pace, image and sound when it is honest to itself. Using only your materials, we uncover the spine that is already there and give it language the whole team can use. Because this is a longer lab, we extend the work beyond the three-day intensive: the living mood board matures into a concise style note with clear guardrails; we hold 1:1 clinics to resolve sensitive choices; we shape a one-line logline, a short synopsis and a clean 90-second verbal so the project can speak consistently; we position the work in the cultural landscape with comparables, identify where it can credibly be encountered, and outline what it needs in order to travel. With that centre in place, we turn outward to a phased plan for presence and outreach — where to show it, when, and with whom — and we map partners who make sense for your case. Choices are pressure-tested against real constraints such as rights, resources, windows and geography so they hold beyond the room. Notes, texts and decisions are written live in your documents; there is no separate handover. No production or editing is performed.
There is no separate handover from me. By the end of day five you leave with tailor-made, text-first materials for submissions and outreach, a realistic route and calendar, and a short set of commitments captured in your shared documents and ready to use.
Live time is about six hours per day, with breaks, over five days. Preferred windows are 09:30–12:30 and 14:00–17:00, local time at the venue. Timings can be adjusted to suit your team’s schedule. I prepare beforehand and follow through afterwards so the work includes preparation and write-up in addition to our time together.
