Taste, clarity and a credible route for AI, games and emerging audiovisual work
Who I am
I am Enrico Vannucci. Since 2014 I have worked within the international A-List festival circuit — as short film advisor at the Venice Film Festival across seven editions, and since 2021 as programmer at the Locarno Film Festival. Alongside this, I have spent fifteen years developing projects, running labs and supporting filmmakers through development programmes across Europe and beyond.
Based in Europe, working worldwide.
What I do
My work is direct and grounded in the material. Whether developing a project or advising an organisation, the approach is the same: honest conversations that surface what is already there, name what holds the work back, and set a clear route forward.
Services
Project-focused work for filmmakers, game studios, XR teams and post-production units. I help teams clarify how story, form and context align so the work can find its place.
Advisory
Organisational work for AI companies, creative technology studios and cultural institutions exploring the intersection of generative media and the audiovisual ecosystem.

FAQ
What’s the scope of the work?
I offer cultural and taste advisory only.
Please note: no software tutorials, editing or production services are included.
Do you produce or edit materials?
No. I work text-first, from your materials. We write and decide together, directly in your documents.
Online or onsite?
Short formats work well online.
When style is at stake, onsite is required.
Multi-day labs are available by proposal.
Which time zone do you work in?
Online sessions are usually scheduled in CET/CEST. I can adapt to your time zone when needed.
Can I record the session? Is an NDA available?
Recording is available on request.
A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) can be provided.
What do you need from us to start?
A one-line logline.
Links to a short clip or a few stills.
Constraints such as duration, platforms, and deadlines.
How do you charge?
Short formats follow public rates.
Multi-day labs are tailored by proposal. Quotes are valid for seven days from issue.
In what currency are invoices issued?
Invoices are issued by default in euros. On request, I can invoice in US dollars, pounds sterling, or Swiss francs.
For non-euro invoices, the amount is converted using the European Central Bank reference rate on the invoice date and rounded to the nearest viable denomination.
Can I reschedule or cancel a session?
Rescheduling is free with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations or no-shows with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full (100%).
What are the conditions for onsite work?
For onsite sessions, travel, meals, and accommodation are billed at cost.
Onsite extension days can be added by proposal.

AI Cinema and the Festival Ecosystem
Some Curatorial Observations
Despite the growing hype surrounding generative video, AI-driven works remain surprisingly rare within the festival ecosystem.
